National Service Scheme (NSS) : The NSS unit of Sydenham College falls under the aegis of the NSS unit of the University of Mumbai. Every year 100 students can enroll themselves in this unit. These students undertake many social activities such as organizing blood donation drives, reading and recording for the blind, plantation drives, participating in the annual rural camp, etc. It also organizes unique programme 'Ek Koshish' for under privileged, differently abled challenged children in association with various NGOs. The Golden Jubilee Memorial Letures : The Sydenham Golden Jubilee Trust instituted three memorial lectures to honour three eminent professors, viz. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Prof. R.M.Joshi and Principal S.K.Muranjan. These memorial lectures are held every year, where students participation is compulsory. |

Marathi Wangmay Mandal (MWM) : Marathi Wangmay Mandal serves students on various fronts. It organizes cultural programmes in Marathi which promote Marathi language and culture. It also celebrates various Maharashtrian festivals like 'Gurupurnima', 'Makarsankranti' etc. to introduce the rich Maharashtrian flavor to all the students thus serving as the Maharashtrian Cultural Ambassador in the college. Hindi Sahitya Mandal (HSM) : It promotes Hindi language and literary work among the students through periodicals, literary events, workshops, lectures, music and dance programmes. Its musical event, Dhoon, provides opportunity to the budding artists of the college to execute their talents. Mela is another event highlights various aspects of the Indian rural life. Sydenham Computer Centre : Sydenham Computer Centre (SCC) was established in 1992 to make students aware about the IT world. It is housed in the Computer Laboratory on the Ground Floor. Brouhaha : Brouhaha –is one of the most reputed college festivals in Western India. This Sydenham college festival dates back to 1985, it was then called as ‘Rainbow Lane’.
